The residential development is set to benefit 531 low-income households situated at Breidbach Plateau (43ha), King William’s Town Eastern Cape low-cost housing units.  These are Free Basic Houses (FBH) RDP units (40m², 45 m², and 55m²) for the normal RDP, disabled and military veteran respectively. With phase 1 towards completion, 139 low-cost serviced housing units will be commission in May 2023. Phase 2 will yield 161 low-cost housing units will. The project is expanded to include the Rural Housing development programme set to yield 231 units by August 2024.
